Life in Paradise

# Saturday, March 10, 2007

To commemorate International Woman's Day, the meeting Friday March 9 at the Cultural Center was a succes, well thought out and well organised. MC Dorothy Richardson was very entertaining and the speech by guest speaker the Hon Mme Justice Desiree P. Bernard was full of information. She mentioned many facts about numerous international conferences, agreements, laws, bylaws and the Caribbean Court of Justice. Her fact packed speech was especialy about violence, and more so about violence against women. Domestic violence, violence in the workplace, in war and peace, violence everywhere. Even violence against men was briefly mentioned, and although men are not often abused by women, it does happen. After the informative speech came a question and answer session, were it became clear that Sint Maarten is no member of Caricom and so can not benefit from the Caribbean Court of Justice. The English speaking island's citizens can go to the CCJ after local justice is not served satisfactory and all other legal ways exhausted.

However, the evening did not get to the root of the problem. I say the root cause of all this misery is Lack of right Education. Dorothy is a teacher for children and I mentioned to her the most important thing to teach, that is the observation of the self. Unfortunately she had no time to go into my remark at that time.

Our culture is based upon the other, not upon the self. See what the other has, see how the other is succesfull, look how the other is dressed, what car he drives, how he lives, and then comment on it... Western religion teaches a God that is in Heaven, an unknown, imaginary place somewhere outside the self. God is pictured as if It lookes down from Heaven and makes decisions and is responsible for everything. There is even a popular song that sings that "God is watching you". Sins are forgiven by this God and can be repeated again and again. Herein lays the grotesk evil that brings people to stupid behavior and violence. "She made me do it, she made me mad, she drove me crazy!" In our religion based culture it is always the other who is to blame, never the self.

I say that every one is responsible for everything that happens in that persons life. Nobody can be blamed for ones actions, and that is the fact. Religion and governement work hand in hand to keep the people uninformed about this. To be self responsable makes people independent. To realize that God is [inside] the self makes the church superfluous. To realize that we self are responsible makes governement superfluous. When schools should teach that one self is the only one responsible for all that happens in one's life, our world should become a better place in just one generation.

"Know Thyself" is the Holy shout, but teachings of how to get to know this Self are nowhere to be found. There are 2600 year old teachings about how to find and become in control of the self. The Master who discovered this explains it easily and understandable but He is condemned by our religious powers. Followers of his teachings never started a war, and we hardly ever hear of violence in countries where His teachings are known. This Enlightened teacher was Gautame Siddharta, later called the Buddha. Jesus mentioned these teachings in the gospel of Thomas, about which we hear little or nothing.

To observe the self, practicaly, as if one is beside the self and watches over the self is easy and efficient. I myself, right now, observe how I write, how I sit, and later will walk, talk, breath, cook, drive and also how and what I think! That is all there is to it. Observation of one's own thoughts leads to control over one's very same thoughts, wich leads to self control over anger, greed, arrogance and all behavior in general.

If I was the boss, I should make Self Observation Teachings mandatory in all schools. It will bring peace and happiness to the suffering majority who at present think that God and Government are in charge. We and you are in charge, nobody else is, never ever forget that!

 Hello again, dear reader...

While I woke up today I thought about my car, and what idiotic heavy piece it is, the weight of it compared to what it does for me. A light car weighs a ton, 1000 kilos, that is 2200 lbs, a medium car 1100 lbs more, that is 1500 kg and a heavy one 2000 kilos and over! [Multiply kilo by 2.2 to get pounds.] Please realize what we are doing, we are dragging more than a ton of metal with us to get our body with a weight of about average 75 kilo from A to B! Realize how ridiculous this is! That we drag 15 to 30 times our own weight around to get somewhere. The heavier the car, the more gas we burn. That produces the dreaded greenhouse gasses that heat up the atmosphere, that melt the pole caps, that raise the sea level, make the polar bears extinct, drives the Eskimos from their hunting grounds and destroys low laying islands. It also changes the climate and hurricanes these years are stronger than those in our parents and grandparents times. I have been greatly troubled to learn this and used as small a transport as possible, that is to say: a 5 gear 125cc engine on two wheels, weighing less than twice my own weight, a mere 140 kg, a smart and fast going motorbike of Asian origine that carried me (and a passenger) with ease over any steep hill around the island. Untill an inattentive [surely intoxicated] driver in a big car hit me when I was standing still, waiting for traffic to pass. Now forever invalid I had to return to drive a 4 wheels transport of 1160 kilos with a 1600cc engine, dragging more than a ton with me wherever I go. More than 12 times of what is needed to transport me. This is disgusting. And it is still a moderate car, not a big SUV or pick up truck. See on the back of many vehicles the displacement, 1.6 is 1600cc, 2 liter is 2000cc, there are cars of 2800cc and more. That is crazy and a little, no very criminal, I will vote for the politician who will restrict the weight of vehicles on the island. In order to spend less on road maintenance, and environmentally conscious, in order to sleep quiet and know that I have done what I can for my world, my planet, for my children's future. Tax vehicles by weight, and discriminate between a light and a heavy car, let carowners pay for what they do to our world, get real mister politician, wake up.

Just to let you know what [unconsciously] plays in my head: Before I woke up today I was abducted by three unknown men, who took me to the airport, gave me another name and a Swiss passport, then flew me in a small jet to an American airport, I have no idea where, and there put me on a plane to Germany where they left me alone. From the German airport I was to fly on to Switzerland. I understood from talk with the 3 goons that they were secret service and that I was an undesired entity and therefore deported, extraordinary rendered, so to say... Then I woke up and realized it was a dream.

Did it mean maybe  that I better shut up lest I get deported???

On Happiness and Wisdom.

We all find it important to be happy; and it is easy to be happy, but it is an activity to make oneself actually happy.

Happiness does not always come just like that out of nowhere. Just like unhappiness or suffering comes from some reason.  Happiness is the contrary of suffering. Our most well-known and followed Holy teacher Jesus the Christ, which means actually: any unexpected deliverer, savior or rescuer; acknowledged the suffering of the people of his religion, which was Judaism.  He saw that an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth would leave the whole world blind and speechless. He came therefore with His New Message of Love, and was rejected and killed.

600 years before Jesus there was another teacher who saw the suffering of his people, and he found The Way to stop the suffering. He was one who had achieved a state of perfect enlightenment, a holy man, a holy person, a saint, a person of exceptional holiness, which was the Buddha. He taught Wisdom as a way to overcome suffering.
Western scholars have pointed out a number of curious parallels between certain passages given in the Buddhist Astasahasrika-prajnaparamita-sutra and the Christian Revelation, and here I quote of the Astasahasrika-prajnaparamita Sutra:

“Perfect Wisdom spreads her radiance…and is worthy of worship. Spotless, the whole world cannot stain her. In her we may find refuge; her works are most excellent; she brings us to safety under the sheltering wings of enlightenment. She brings light to the blind, that all fears and calamities may be dispelled…and she scatters the gloom and darkness of delusion. She leads those who have gone astray to the right path. She is omniscience; without beginning or end is Perfect Wisdom, who has Emptiness as her characteristic mark; she is mother of the bodhisattvas*. She cannot be struck down, the protector of the unprotected.”

The word marked by the asterisk* explained here:
*Those who are allowed to see the truth under the agreement that they will communicate it to others, also: An enlightened being who, out of compassion, forgoes nirvana in order to save others, or literally an "enlightenment being"- to keep free all beings from the coils of suffering.

We will not get hit this year again

This year we will not get hit by a major hurricane, because there is no reason why we should. LUIS, 11 years ago was the one we really needed and that was the one we got. Just like Katrina was the one for New Orleans, LUIS was the one for SXM.

Because those places needed a major clean up and no government or agency could ever have cleaned up LA and SXM better than those hurricanes. And what is best, no common person of ordinary wit ever suspects that secret government powers are behind those hurricanes.

From where I sit, I see a huge flamboyant tree in its full blooming red flower splendor. It announces the summer season, the time of heat, of days with too little or too much wind. The red color is a clear warning: “Here is the season of dangerous weather!”

What hardly anybody knows is that the weather is under the control of (very secret) government powers. Storms can be enhanced, they can be send in certain directions. This is done with knowledge that Nikola Tesla revealed about 100 years ago.

Our (grand-) parents saw the first movies, still black and white only, and without sound. In many of those early movies were storms with rain and thunderstorms with very realistic lightning flashes. Nikola Tesla made those lightning flashes with his coils.

Those of us who have Internet only have to google “tesla weather control” to get close to a million English pages with information about Tesla and his weather controlling inventions.

See: http://www.freedomdomain.com/weather.html from where I quote:

“Is it strange how, when we are in the middle of summer, it can be raining out, and one day it is very "hot", the next day it is 15 degree cooler, and two days later, it is "hot" again? Does this seem strange? How about earthquakes in parts of the world, that are so devastating, that if they were to happen here, our whole economy could be ruined.
Do you think it is "odd" that people would suggest that the government can and does control the weather? I KNOW it sounds a little paranoid, but if you do the research to investigate, you will undoubtedly arrive at the same conclusions. OUR WEATHER IS CONTROLLED!” end quote.

Graduate of Guided Missile Staff Officer's Course, U.S. Army (equivalent to MS in Aerospace Engineering).

On his website http://www.cheniere.org/ you find how it is done.

So worry little this season, as the great clean up is already done at our little island in 1995, we will not have any major hit again. The secret electromagnetic installations on Cuba will no doubt steer most of the storms towards the most vulnerable American oil installations to punish the USA for its useless decades long embargo that has not stopped Cuba from becoming a nation with better health care and less illiteracy than its oppressor.

A United Nations Treaty exists which pledges all member states to refrain from using Weather Control as a lethal weapon upon other states but I don’t think Cuba cares for that one.

See: http://www.fas.org/nuke/control/enmod/text/environ2.htm

Entered into force October 5, 1978
Ratification by U.S. President December 13, 1979
U.S. ratification deposited at New York January 17, 1980

So there we have it, all you unbelievers, check it out and know from now on that your GOD, Allah, Jehovah and Krishna have little to say about what Hurricane will hit where.

With love and care

Whatever you all think of me, I can say that I have all my life dated woemn age 19. The relationships lasted from short 2 to long 8 years and where always fantastic.
When 22, I met Margona from Sweden 19 yrs old, we were 5 years fine until she went off with another guy. The at 28 I met Katharina 19yrs, from Holland, in Amsterdam. We lived like man and wife, for 5 yrs, and when it got to hot in the RED SEA on our sailing boat she went home, looking back at a good time with me. Then at 35 I met Israeli Sabra Vicky, 19 yrs old, just finishing her military service. She joined me and was my boatwife for 8 years until in the Caribbean she left with a handsome Brazilian. Devastated and lonely I met Linda, from Dominica , she was 19 and I was 46. We lived together 3 years and parted but are still best frinds today.
Then came Sariela who was a few years younger than 19 and Valentina, a few years older than 19. But last year I met Anie, who lives nearby and is 20. I am 61 now and we are very happy when we are close. Sex a little, that sure, but mostly, just talk, cooking, video games, laughter.
I asked them often why are you with me girls?
They had dozens of reasons:
same age boys are kids, we want a man,
young boys have no father power,
they do not know their place in life yet
and most important young men are jealous and posessive. That pissed them off the most.
I leave them free, who am I to say what they should do or not do? I admire them for their young vigor, their power, their fresh loving look, and a lot of other things.
And my advice to you who looks for younger lovers is to go South. Where the life is more natural and the people know still how to share love. The knowledge of the old goes to the young, the power of the young invigorated the old, It is an exchange of forces and so both are happy. She learns from me, and I keep young by absorbing her young language and style.
Charley Chaplin did it, Edith Piaff did it, and Bob Marleys father was 58 and his mommy 17, see what a star came from that union.
whomever talks against young and old together knows not of real life.
Come to the tropics, Caribbean, Africa, Thailand, and experience the fullness of loving tenderness away from the stupid always better knowing cold girls from the cold countries.

And then you want a serious relationship you say? Let me tell you that all my relationships were and are dead serious. I give my all and everything each and every moment. And sometimes two girls competed for my love, and then I introduce them to each other and have them make friends. It has happened that they went in bed with me together, but ok, that was just a few times.
The royal treat they gave was just because I deserved it is what they said when I asked wow, how come you two do me together now? Ah, cumm to the tropics and start a life!

Respect is the keyword today and very much concern about the lack of it. Re- means again, like in return, review, research, -spect comes from looking, as in spectator, spectacle. Respect means look again, to look twice, to double look.If someone respects the law he looks very good at it and if someone demands respect he has something that merits looking at him again. Where people live impulsively, acting on the spur of the moment, doing whatever the basic instinct dictates, respect does not come into play. Only to look once, without thinking and to do without thinking is lacking respect. Know Thy Self means the same as respect yourself, look at yourself. Not after it is too late, after a stupid act took place, when one finds him/herself in trouble, but before. Apologies always come too late, sorry always is a waste of words. It always means disrespect. My wish to all educators and all who want to learn: look again, and again and again, until you see. Remember the words of Jesus: He who has eyes, that he may see.

To answer the Jewish person that replied on my letter about Israel and wanted to know my religion. I am religious, yes, and very much so, but I have not one established so called religion. I have been called a Gnostic, someone who has God in his very being; and nothing stands between me and God. No dogma, rule, organization,  cult or group. From my earliest days the world has tried to make me believe that the Jewish god is jealous and should be feared, the Christian god is not one but three, the Islam prophet with his twelve wives was the true One and that Krishna should be my guide to the Divine, as well as Buddha whose teachings will lead to enlightenment. I studied all and every way, followed all the ceremonies, kissed the hands of priests, visited the Pope, drunk Jesus blood and ate his body, I saw the Dalai Lama and sung Orthodox Gregorian psalms, all to no avail. Not an inkling of the Divine. Untill my journey was directed inward and I got rid of the endless teachings of the religious conmen and priests and leaders. Only when I made myself empty of the past and arrived at the present, now, did I start to see the light. In the nothingness wherewith the Bible begin, in the emptiness of nothingness, did the Divine enter. By putting away myself God could enter. Call it meditation, or watchfulness, or awareness, call it love.. When I see the trees dance in the wind and the flowers open to shed their perfume, when the children come laughing to dance around me and the birds sing their song, I know that I am part of the universe, part of what you call God. By dismissing old rules of the past and becoming a presently living human being, I experience religiousness. And I recommend every person to look inward to find the center of your being where no other than pure knowledge can judge your self, where God resides in all its pureness and love. Unfortunately, this truth cannot be thought, it can only be experienced. It cannot be learned or received or given. You can only discover yourself by observing yourself and by fading out all lies and untruths, Until the Truth takes over. You was born out of love, it is your very core. Rediscover it it by shedding all learned rules and regulations, peel away layer  after layer of so called knowledge until you find back your inner emptiness, where the original you, made of love, resides. I'll meet you there.

Let me tell you once again, the reasons for  violence, crime, insecurity, lack of respect.

Like a blind man groping in the dark is the person asking about solutions for the violence, the lack of concern, the hate and the pain it causes. Jesus message of love has never been implemented by the churches that have sprouted up around His ideas and teachings. Born out of love and born with love everybody should be loving. But the politicians and priests have destroyed that love from day one. Love makes one a rebel. Rebel against the lies and the hate. Against the possessiveness of the world. Love does not posses. Love is freedom. And freedom does not exist in this world of frontiers, religious laws and capitalistic money hoarding. Frustration is the result of those people who cannot suppress their love any longer. The church wants you to be their member and nobody else’s member. You  belong to this or that church, you are not free, you cannot be love. Love cannot be restricted to one thing only, then it is not love, then it is preference. One must love his country, but can only do so by hating ,or not so strong, disliking other countries. Every nation calls itself best, implementing that others are worse. There is no love in that. Every persons intrinsic nature is love when born. From the beginning this love is curbed, destroyed and corrupted. What of a jealous God that tolerates no other? Is that Love? The religions have created fear, the opposite of love. Only people that are afraid are easy to manipulate. A person of love knows no fear. Love is courageous. The politicians and the priests work hand in hand, you always see them together at official happenings. They do not want loving people, they cannot be manipulated. The natural love that is everybody birthright is hidden, hurt, damaged, but not destroyed completely, it cannot disappear totally. Hence the rebellion, the frustrated violence, the crazy deeds from those who themselves not know why they go crazy. In fact everybody is part of the madness. Except for those few that come like Jesus, with words of love, and whips to chase the moneymakers, and words of comfort for the whores, nobody gives in to the natural love that is the basic source of life. People like Jesus that want to change the hate policy and the wrong of the authorities are killed, deported or otherwise eliminated. Society has no place for those who are filled with love. When love is in a person, why should he go to a church or temple to look for God? When he is dancing, happy, full of gods love, why look for god in books, temples? That is why we have this violence, crime and problems in the world. And here in our own backyard. When more people are involved in planting trees and flowers than in making weapons and war, maybe the world would begin to heal. It won't happen. For those who feel the wrongs, because love is still alive  inside, hold on, you are not alone, a few of us are always around, But to protect ourselves we must operate under the surface, low profile. Because we upset the policies from church and state.
