Not a little reluctant to write about this worn out subject, I am so disgusted and fed up that here goes: the quality of the movies on channel 7 and the most possible influence it has on our future peoples conduct. 9 Out of ten movies are about violence. Every American movie has the same boring ingredients: a gunfight, a car chase and an explosion. Not always in that order but always the same three ingredients. an explosion, a car chase and a gunfight, or several of each. When you've seen one you've seen them all. The so called wrestling madness with bulky unhealthy looking persons with hormonically unnatural pepped up bodies that will deflate after a few years, fill the screen with violence of the worst kind, what exactly is the message? What does the provider of these movies want its public to see, to learn, to become? Monkey see, monkey do, so it is well clear that TV looking youngsters, those with little education will copy the way a gangster holds up a store, restaurant or couple of tourists. Youngsters see and hear the foulest language, what the hell, repeated by the rude awakening dogs on a radio show, and feel important and great when they can foul mouth each another. Is that the way the world is to be? Violent like the old cowboy mentality, that killed the local Indians and now sprays the movie screens with blood, bullets and curses? What a boring culture and way down the drain of civilization. Badly educated youngsters are good to go in the army in order to kill the poorest dressed fighters from other cultures and fill the world with coca cola and Marlboro. Scantily dressed , foul mouthing wrestlers stand as role models for our youth. With decorations from the most hated Nazi time, they walk around the screen as brutal beasts that can hardly speak coherent language. Bashing into each other like crazed animals they depict human creatures at their worst. That the world was so in its earliest days, I can understand, but that it still goes on today, 2000 years later, I find incomprehensible. I do not belong here and I will take my leave, because I see no hope for a place that entertains its TV lookers with gore and blood, fights and explosions in its most primitive form. No educational products, no emotional love stories, no scientific solutions here, nothing to give the viewers any information onto better times. Destruction and hate, made in the USA, thank you, I pass.
